With a desire to design our site to encourage people to attend events - the heart of what we do - and connect easily afterwards - while not being an online dating site - we walk an intentional path.
For new members, there are fun wonderful volunteer-led events - and no direct messaging.
Over time, based on how a member serves others and attends events often, direct message may be offered as an option- to easily follow-up with others after events.
We understand what it is like to meet a wonderful person - for friendship or pursuing marriage - and then not know if or when you might ever get to see them again.
If you did not get the opportunity to ask for someone's number while at a brief event, direct messaging (DM) afterwards can be very helpful.
The key is to send a message only after having met someone - not before.
Blind direct messaging is online dating.
Following-up with a new friend after an event is us.
In addition, each member has the opportunity to 'turn off' the direct messaging option on their unique profile - in case they wish to never be contacted online - and only be approached at events. We support authentic, organic relationships!

Lastly, we find having direct messaging (DM) available in our same-gender friendship spaces is key to helping members form new friendships and even become more connected to the local church!
Friendship and connection with the local church is the other heart of what we do.
It is where abundant life as a single is found - in strong church family connection - and strong community with other Christian singles.

Offer our main event space for free!
Any Christian single can post and view Christian community group events for free. (To post an event, you must first follow a training and have already attended 1-3 events yourself) - but your access remains free.
Offering Direct Messaging (DM) on a limited basis for vetted members.
If a member has attended 1-3 events and has been kind and embodied the Christian values of our site, they are given limited DM access. Essentially, enough to follow-up with same-gendered friends and only those of the opposite gender that they have met at events. This is typically offered at a low price point - depending on the city.
Are there additional ways to connect?
Depending on the city, there may be interest groups based around shared hobbies or age ranges. Please speak to the leadership team of your local community to learn more.
