About Us

I am a University of Delaware graduate and mother of three college-age children who, along with my wonderful husband of 24 years, all help support me in this ministry. I am so grateful for them!

After moving multiple times because of my husband’s job, I became more aware of the value of community.

Then, around 2007, God put serving Christian singles on my heart when I volunteered alongside many at my church. They shared countless stories of just how difficult it was to find other Christian singles, for either dating or friendship, in our increasingly fragmented society.

It began a prayer journey that resulted in founding Christian Singles Connect (CSC) in St. Louis in 2014, Boston in 2019, and now Newark, DE, in 2026!

 It also led me to perform research showing that 35%-40% of adults in Christian churches are single. In addition, many singles I met shared that they sometimes felt less connected in the family of God for a variety of reasons. The pastors and churches I know care deeply about Christian singles but often do not have the staffing - or enough singles in their church - to provide specific ministries for singles. 

In addition, 70% or more of the Christian singles I spoke with shared that they hoped to find an opposite-gender partner to begin a marriage and family with. Pursuing marriage often comes with a unique set of challenges that are understandably difficult to incorporate into a Sunday morning worship setting. 

After much prayer, I felt led to serve Christian singles by providing in-person friendship and dating opportunities at a citywide level.
